Overview

Role Objective

The Client Services Representative (CSR) is tasked with formulating a strategic approach to foster new and enhance existing business connections, thereby achieving essential performance metrics.

As a vital member of the growth team, the CSR will work towards amplifying awareness, generating referrals, and increasing admissions within the behavioral health sector.

This position is designated to cover specific regions, promoting the comprehensive array of services offered by UpHealth Behavioral.

The role embodies a commitment to integrity and service, reflecting the core values of the organization in all responsibilities undertaken.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Proactively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling and in-person meetings to build a robust pipeline of prospective and active accounts.

2. Collaborate with UpHealth Behavioral leadership to leverage strategic initiatives across various teams, including admissions, clinical, revenue, alumni, and medical.

3. Optimize existing resources and develop new strategies to meet or surpass growth objectives.

4. Establish goals and timelines for securing new and enhanced key account opportunities.

5. Provide exceptional follow-up with both prospects and established relationships.

6. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the full range of services provided by the company.

7. Travel to attend relevant events, conferences, and meetings as necessary.

8. Uphold a professional demeanor at all times.

9. Complete all mandated compliance training and maintain up-to-date CRM documentation on a regular basis.

10. Meet minimum weekly outbound activity targets, including calls, meetings, and email outreach.

11. Participate in team and company meetings.

12. Identify and engage new potential strategic clients, groups, or industries.

13. Achieve designated revenue and utilization goals.


Qualifications and Skills:

1. 2-3 years of experience in the behavioral health sector.

2. Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance, behavioral health trends, market analysis, and sales strategies.

3. Established relationships with hospitals and employee assistance programs.

4. Proven experience in sales and business development, including cold calling, appointment setting, presentations, and closing deals.

5. In-depth knowledge of behavioral health services and levels of care (detox, residential, PHP, IOP, OP).

6. Proficiency in Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and other sales enablement tools (HubSpot, Definitive Healthcare, etc.).

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

8. Demonstrated capacity for follow-through, prioritization, and multitasking.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

10. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.

11. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

12. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.

13. A genuine enthusiasm for contributing positively to the team's overall success.

14. Valid Driver's License required.

15. Flexibility to work during and after natural or man-made disasters may be necessary.
