Job Description

The Client Relations Supervisor (CRS) is dedicated to ensuring exceptional customer engagement and satisfaction throughout the delivery of Motorola's Lifecycle Service offerings. The CRS oversees government contracts, ensuring the effective provision of service products to local government clients. This role involves managing relationships with external partners responsible for service delivery, as well as overseeing contract renewals, proposals, accurate forecasting, and the development of Statements of Work. The CRS is accountable for meeting profit and loss targets and managing receivables, while also ensuring service billing and cost performance goals are achieved. A key responsibility includes marketing sophisticated service programs across various levels within customer organizations, collaborating closely with both direct and indirect sales teams. The CRS will formulate service account plans and strategies tailored to assigned accounts, with a strong emphasis on cultivating customer relationships to drive service growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for contract management, ensuring compliance with service delivery and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Engage with customers to address concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain service scope as outlined in contracts, ensuring customers are aware of their service obligations.
  • Provide timely and relevant reporting as required by service contracts.
  • Oversee subcontractor deliverables and ensure adherence to agreed-upon scopes and outcomes.
  • Address product quality issues as necessary.
  • Participate in case management processes to guarantee effective service delivery.
  • Assist partners and vendors with billing and payment inquiries.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance service quality and delivery practices.
  • Ensure operational documentation is current and relevant.
  • Manage third-party vendors as required.
  • Facilitate contract change management as needed.
  • Effectively oversee Manufacturer Representative assigned service contracts.
  • Collaborate with National System Service for contract management and renewals.
  • Gather and submit Booking Packages for contract processing.
  • Work closely with the Motorola Program Manager to ensure a seamless transition from project implementation to warranty support.
  • Document support and service expectations clearly for customers, ensuring their operational needs are met.
  • Develop and update Customer Support Plans in conjunction with customer and Motorola Field teams.
  • Create Statements of Work for customers and service providers.
  • Manage the service contract renewal process for all assigned agreements, including updates to customer inventories and pricing.
  • Lead coordination of change requests and oversee their implementation.
  • Collaborate with customers on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Participate in revenue and margin forecasting related to service agreements.
  • Achieve on-time contract renewal objectives.

Additional Qualifications:

Possess a strong understanding of Motorola Solutions products and services, along with proficiency in Oracle/Services lifecycle tools. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to effectively market and manage service support contracts related to Project 25 and associated wireless technologies. Sales acumen in establishing customer relationships and closing service support opportunities is crucial. Proficiency in Google and Microsoft business applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Basic Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following areas: Lifecycle Service Account Management, Sales, Systems Implementation, Integration, LMR Sales, LMR Engineering, Customer Support, Customer Account Management, or Technical Services Sales. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Travel Requirements:

25-50% travel may be necessary.
