Customer Experience Account Manager

Job Overview

The Customer Experience Account Manager acts as the main point of contact for a designated group of clients, ensuring that all client requirements and expectations are fulfilled. This role involves engaging with clients through various channels, including case management systems, phone calls, and email communications regarding inquiries related to orders, shipping timelines, issues, modifications, repairs, and returns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Foster a positive client experience by establishing rapport, demonstrating empathy, and providing effective solutions to their needs.

2. Collaborate with clients to gather and confirm monthly and yearly material forecasts.

3. Proactively communicate with clients to review pending orders, ensuring alignment between order volumes and forecasted demands.

4. Manage transactions such as sales orders, product returns, and exchanges efficiently.

5. Drive profitable growth to achieve both team and individual objectives while ensuring an outstanding client experience.

6. Commit to continuous learning and self-improvement to enhance knowledge and expertise.

7. Utilize available resources to stay informed about promotional initiatives and contribute to profitable growth during critical business periods.

8. Identify future opportunities by understanding the deeper needs of clients to build long-lasting relationships.

9. Embrace a culture of learning to continuously enhance existing skills and acquire new ones in support of client satisfaction.

10. Adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities and demands.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing service role within a manufacturing environment or as an account manager.

- An associate degree in business administration or a related field.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients over the phone.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- A strong work ethic and self-motivation, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic business setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP in Sales & Distribution, particularly in returns management and planning.

- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.

- Background in a matrix organization across various regions or countries.

- Experience in a start-up environment.
