Position Overview

The Customer Experience Account Manager acts as the main point of contact for a designated set of clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met. This role involves engaging with clients through various channels, including case management systems, phone calls, and emails, to address inquiries related to orders, shipping timelines, issues, modifications, repairs, and returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive client experience by establishing strong relationships, demonstrating empathy, and providing effective solutions.
  • Engage with clients to gather and confirm their monthly and annual material requirements.
  • Proactively review outstanding orders with clients to ensure alignment between orders and forecasted demand.
  • Handle transactions including sales orders, product returns, and exchanges efficiently.
  • Drive profitable growth to achieve both team and individual objectives while maintaining an exceptional client experience.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and self-development.
  • Utilize available resources to stay informed about promotional initiatives and contribute to profitable growth during critical business periods.
  • Identify future opportunities by understanding the deeper needs of clients to cultivate long-lasting relationships.
  • Embrace a culture of learning to improve existing skills and acquire new ones in support of client satisfaction and personal contributions.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities and demands.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing service role or as an account manager within a manufacturing environment.
  • An associate degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Possess a professional demeanor and strong telephone communication skills to quickly establish rapport with clients.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation, effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic business setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP in Sales & Distribution, particularly in returns management and planning.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Background in organizations with matrix structures across various regions.
  • Experience in a start-up environment.
