Your Role

As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Credit Risk Management team. This position requires a unique combination of analytical expertise, project oversight, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize statistical segmentation techniques to uncover new credit opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analyses of credit policies to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Develop predictive financial models employing advanced statistical methodologies, including trend and regression analysis.
  • Engage in the evaluation of new data and statistical products from external sources.
  • Perform loss forecasting analyses to support risk management strategies.
  • Extract, process, and analyze data from various sources, including credit bureau and alternative credit data.
  • Deliver outputs while adhering to project timelines and deadlines.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative analytic modeling or related process management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAS or similar statistical programming languages.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation abilities.
  • Effective time management skills and familiarity with project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • A graduate degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, C++, Python, R, or other statistical software.
  • Experience in consumer risk management.
  • Background in the wireless or telecom industry.
