Job Overview

This position serves as a strategic advisor to essential clients, customizing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and drive significant sales growth.

You will be part of a dedicated team of sales professionals focused on securing new business and expanding software and solution sales within designated accounts in HP's Enterprise West sales region.

The primary emphasis will be on accelerating sales of print software, services, and solutions. In the long run, the focus will shift towards selling software solutions that yield tangible business results as part of HP's comprehensive Print and Personal Systems services and solutions portfolio.

This role requires close collaboration with the Print and Personal Systems sales teams, utilizing insights to effectively position offerings that tackle intricate challenges.

Additionally, you will act as a liaison between clients and internal teams for enhancements and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with clients to comprehend their business requirements and challenges, aligning the organization's offerings with client objectives, and designing customized solutions.

Collaborate with customers to create business cases that define the return on investment for software and solution acquisitions.

Identify growth trajectories and scalability options for solutions, generating implementation plans that consider potential challenges and risks.

Work closely with HP sales and customer success teams to provide insights and guidance, assisting in the effective positioning of HP's offerings during the sales process.

Address unique and complex challenges that necessitate innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to deploy creative solutions.

Highlight the organization's products and services, emphasizing their features, functionalities, and how they meet client requirements.

Contribute to the creation of sales enablement materials, including technical documentation, case studies, and training resources for the sales team.

Act as a bridge between clients and the organization's internal teams, relaying feedback from client interactions to enhance products, services, and overall sales strategy.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and opportunities, ensuring the organization remains competitive.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, assisting them in developing technical and consultative selling skills.

Education & Experience

A four-year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience demonstrating competence.

Typically requires 10+ years of experience, preferably in technical sales, consultative selling, account management, or a related area.

Compensation reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets, with differences based on defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $173,000 to $267,650 annually, with additional opportunities for bonuses and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
