About the Patient Services Coordinator Role

Gastro Health is seeking a dedicated full-time Patient Services Coordinator to become part of our dynamic team.

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will engage with patients on a daily basis, providing essential administrative support to our healthcare providers. Our team members leave each day knowing they have positively impacted the lives of our patients.

The ideal candidate will possess a warm and approachable demeanor, along with strong observational and organizational skills. Being a quick learner and an effective problem solver is essential.

Patient Services Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available (e.g., pens, forms, paper)
  • Welcome and greet visitors with a friendly attitude
  • Address inquiries and resolve complaints effectively
  • Handle all incoming calls, redirecting them as needed, and taking messages when necessary
  • Receive and distribute incoming correspondence, packages, etc.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, including drafting letters and securing parcels
  • Sort and forward emails as required
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and files
  • Track office expenses and costs
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned (e.g., travel arrangements, scheduling)
Patient Services Coordinator Requirements
  • Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role is preferred
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers)
  • Understanding of office management and basic bookkeeping principles
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written
  • Strong command of MS Office applications (especially Excel and Word)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Ability to solve problems effectively
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • High School diploma; additional qualifications are a plus
