Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be tasked with creating engineered drawings for HVAC control systems. Responsibilities include reviewing specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects, ensuring accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using AutoCAD and/or Visio. You will also need to size control valves, dampers, air flow stations, and similar components for HVAC systems. Additionally, you should be capable of drafting and comprehending the sequence of operations for HVAC control systems, as well as assembling submittals and operation & maintenance manuals for projects.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another STEM discipline with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Visio for at least 3 years.
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, HVAC systems, and controls.
  • Knowledge of advanced hydronic and ductwork systems is essential.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in the MS Office Suite are required.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
