Responsibilities:

  • Utilize available technology to prioritize the distribution of information.
  • Assist in maintaining the readiness of patient care equipment.
  • Accurately and effectively manage patient records.
  • Show initiative in enhancing quality and customer service by striving to exceed expectations.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities; remain open and receptive to others' perspectives; provide constructive feedback; contribute to team objectives; and prioritize team success over personal interests.
  • Recognize that patient and workplace safety is paramount by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, and promptly reporting any concerns.
  • Manage inventory and supplies related to patient care, including ordering, obtaining, and storing necessary items.
  • Be capable of transporting patients using a wheelchair or stretcher.
  • Be able to maneuver a cart loaded with supplies.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience as a Unit Clerk or in a medical office setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking fluent English is required, along with a typing speed of 40 words per minute. Strong interpersonal skills and good phone etiquette are necessary.
