Logistics Engineer Opportunity:

As a logistics engineer, you recognize that every program is built on well-defined management protocols. Your understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations, budgeting, and procurement is crucial, as is your ability to leverage technology and software tools for effective property management, ensuring mission integrity.

In this role, you will utilize your engineering and process enhancement skills to create tools for the U.S. Army. Your expertise in property management, particularly concerning Government Furnished Property or Government Furnished Equipment, will be instrumental in coordinating system elements for sustainable integration.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance in assessing the status and disposition of equipment, facilitating the development of management tools and oversight processes.
  • Utilize analytical findings to chart a course that aligns with design specifications and guarantees operational efficiency.
  • Apply your experience in acquisition, storage, distribution, maintenance, and disposal of materials, facilities, and services to ensure high-quality mission-critical solutions.

As a logistics engineer, your contributions will enhance the safety of military personnel. Collaborating with senior team members, you will apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement to resolve logistical challenges.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation supplements, particularly in relation to Logistics Planning.
  • Ability to analyze data to establish property management objectives and identify necessary support, including funding and technical requirements.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, business development, configuration management, life cycle support, documentation control, database management, and logistics engineering; or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Professional Property Manager Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Army or DoD acquisition, sustainment, support, maintenance, and logistical functions related to property management.
  • Familiarity with Army, DoD, and GSA policies and regulations regarding Government Furnished Property or Equipment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The estimated compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 annually.

Work Model:

Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site.
