The Financial Operations Manager position is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization, which includes analyzing financial data, generating regular financial statements, maintaining a robust accounting system, managing payroll, and establishing a comprehensive framework of controls and budgets aimed at minimizing risks, improving the precision of the organization's financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Key responsibilities encompass:
• Developing and maintaining a documented framework of accounting policies and procedures.
• Implementing safeguards over financial transactions.
• Preparing the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Leading the offshore accounting team.
• Suggesting performance metrics.
• Delivering profit and loss reports.
• Assessing manual processes for potential automation.
• Streamlining month-end closing procedures to ensure completion within 10 days.
• Supervising financial reporting.
• Conducting financial analysis for capital expenditures and pricing strategies.
• Fostering strong partnerships with General Managers for collaborative solutions.
• Ensuring adherence to governmental regulations.
• Assisting with external audits.
• Establishing a cash flow forecasting mechanism.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Familiarity with FP&A analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This role requires full-time on-site presence.
Work Environment
The position involves extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
The candidate should be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally and may need to travel as required.
