Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Paychex. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for selling Paychex HCM Products and services to new and existing clients within the Paychex 50 and under client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize referred or self-generated leads to identify new business opportunities and grow the client base.
- Client Needs Analysis: Meet with clients to understand their business needs and analyze how Paychex HCM solutions can meet those needs.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Quote and Proposal Development: Schedule follow-up meetings with prospective clients, align Paychex HCM solutions with client needs, and prepare offer presentations and quotes using Salesforce CPQ tool.
- Closing Sales: Meet with clients to review sales quotes and agreements, address questions or concerns, and negotiate as needed to close sales.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Schedule appointments with new and existing clients to upsell and cross-sell HCM solutions.
- Customer Analysis: Analyze customer needs and interests using Salesforce data, determine which products are appropriate, and refer to appropriate partners when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete and submit new sales-related paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports according to agreed-upon dates set by sales management.
- Professional Development: Build personal capability through acquisition and application of required technical, competitive, and sales skills and knowledge to achieve sales objectives, quota, and key performance metric targets.
- Partner Collaboration: Work with Paychex partners to expedite the resolution of client implementation resolution issues or related customer issues and/or complaints directed to sales.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's Degree - Preferred
- Experience: 1 year of experience in inside or outside business-to-business sales
