Sales Account Executive

Informa Markets is seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive to join our established team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving success by selling booth space and sponsorships for a major annual tradeshow in the Building and Construction market.
Your primary responsibility will be to create strategic plans to achieve revenue goals by generating new sales ideas and researching new markets and trends. You will also be responsible for prospecting for new business through various sources, developing strong relationships with customers, and providing accurate sales projections and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Prospect for new business through industry publications, websites, and competitive shows
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Prepare customized business proposals for perspective and existing clients
- Customize sponsorship and booth space offerings to fit the needs of clients
- Provide accurate sales projections and forecasts
- Maintain and update sales databases
Requirements:
- Preferred: Tradeshow-specific sales experience
- Creative, charismatic, and energetic
- Strong time management and ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; sales database management knowledge is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Team-focused, collaborative mindset; able to work seamlessly with exhibitors and internal teams
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a fast learner
- Exceptional customer service skills
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 plus commission, offering the potential for further earnings based on performance
