Account Executive

The Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for driving client retention and growth through strategic account management and the introduction of new products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to develop and implement effective, enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute account plans to drive client retention and growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives to understand client needs and develop strategic solutions
- Manage and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand client relationships
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
- 6-10 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment)
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
