About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team at Hilti North America. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and drive sales growth through effective account management and relationship-building.
  • Time and Territory Management: Create and manage a daily schedule to optimize customer interactions, sales productivity, and territory coverage.
  • Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, and demonstrate them to customers to meet their needs.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Utilize Salesforce to track customer interactions, sales performance, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Outside Sales Experience: Have at least three years of outside sales experience, preferably in an environment with set targets.
  • Hands-on Attitude: Demonstrate a hands-on attitude, with the ability to demonstrate products to customers, use Salesforce to track interactions, and collaborate with various departments.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license, with a company car provided.
  • Excellent Time and Territory Management Skills: Demonstrate excellent time and territory management skills, with the ability to create and manage a daily schedule to optimize customer interactions and sales productivity.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds at any given time.
