Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Associate Asset Manager to become a vital member of our Asset Services team. This role is crucial in assisting Asset Managers with the operational and commercial oversight of utility-scale solar PV facilities across the United States. You will ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards while maximizing project returns and maintaining compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Asset Services team in managing operational assets, collaborating with various departments such as Operations & Maintenance, performance monitoring, insurance, legal, finance, IT, and procurement.
- Assist in financial planning and analysis, including monthly revenue accruals, operating expenses, and project-related financial impacts.
- Work with the Finance team to analyze monthly project-level profit and loss variances and cash flow forecasts.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, analyzing individual assets and standardizing budget assumptions across the portfolio.
- Conduct monthly reviews of operational and financial key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare internal and external project reports, along with ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Maintain a compliance database for operational assets, ensuring regular updates and compliance assessments.
- Oversee the reporting cycle to guarantee timely and accurate reporting of financial, operational, and contractual obligations.
- Manage third-party service providers, including vendor onboarding and invoice processing.
- Assist in coordinating with third-party operators and managing operations and maintenance activities to ensure reliable asset performance.
- Support the transition of new projects from development to operational status.
- Help manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and landowners.
Candidate Profile
Knowledge
• Experience in commercial asset management for utility-scale solar PV and/or wind energy in the United States, with a foundational understanding of energy market principles and renewable asset operations.
Qualifications
• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
Experience
• At least three years of experience in finance, development, or operations, ideally within the energy sector. Experience with financial investors in the renewable energy space or integrated developers is preferred.

• Capable of understanding technical operational issues and translating them into commercial and financial insights.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
