Role Overview
The Junior Portfolio Management Associate plays a vital supportive role within the Portfolio Management Team, assisting in daily operational functions. This position requires extensive collaboration with portfolio managers, serving as a critical bridge between the Operations and Portfolio Management teams, especially concerning trade execution. Furthermore, the Junior Portfolio Management Associate engages in various committees and keeps informed about market dynamics to effectively contribute to the team's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of portfolio management.
- Conduct research and support trading activities for Portfolio Managers.
- Contribute insights and expertise in Portfolio Management committees.
- Analyze current and anticipated market trends to guide investment strategies.
- Facilitate communication between the Operations and Portfolio Management teams to ensure efficient workflows.
- Support the Portfolio Management process through meticulous documentation and research.
- Participate in new business initiatives by aiding in the analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
