Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Associate Asset Manager to enhance our dynamic Asset Services team. This pivotal position involves assisting Asset Managers in the daily operational and commercial oversight of utility-scale solar PV facilities in the USA. Your role will focus on ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards while maximizing project returns and maintaining compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Asset Services team in managing operational assets, collaborating with various departments such as Operations & Maintenance, performance monitoring, insurance, legal, finance, IT, and procurement.
  2. Assist in financial analysis and planning, including monthly revenue accruals, operating costs, and project-related financial impacts.
  3. Collaborate with the Finance team to analyze monthly project-level profit and loss variances and cash flow projections.
  4. Participate in the annual budgeting process, analyzing individual assets and standardizing budget assumptions across the portfolio.
  5. Conduct monthly reviews of operational and financial key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  6. Prepare internal and external project reports, along with ad-hoc reporting as required.
  7. Maintain a compliance database for operational assets, ensuring regular updates and assessments.
  8. Oversee the reporting cycle to guarantee timely and accurate reporting of financial, operational, and contractual commitments.
  9. Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including vendor onboarding and invoice processing.
  10. Assist in coordinating with third-party operators to ensure reliable and safe operations of the asset portfolio.
  11. Support the transition of new projects from development to operational status.
  12. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and landowners.

Candidate Profile

Knowledge
Experience in commercial asset management for utility-scale solar PV and/or wind energy in the United States, along with a foundational understanding of energy market dynamics and renewable asset operations.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is essential.

Experience
A minimum of three years in finance, development, or operations, ideally within the energy sector. Candidates with experience in renewable energy investment or integrated development are preferred.

Personal Attributes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams are ideal. Candidates should be adept at interpreting legal contracts and translating technical operations into financial analyses. Willingness to travel up to 15% is required.
