Research Focus: Our lab is dedicated to identifying pharmacogenetic factors that influence medication efficacy and safety, particularly in diverse populations. We aim to uncover genetic and social determinants affecting drug responses, with a focus on cardiovascular health and diabetes risk associated with medication use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the generation and management of extensive datasets, including electronic health records and genomic information.
- Conduct data analysis and visualization to support ongoing research projects.
- Develop and maintain longitudinal datasets for comprehensive analysis.
- Perform statistical analyses and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Archive and document code for reproducibility and future reference.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in pharmacogenomics, with potential for independent research projects based on performance. We are looking for candidates who are committed for at least 18 months and possess a strong interest in precision medicine and pharmacogenomics.
Qualifications:
- Junior Specialist: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent research experience.
- Assistant Specialist: Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with significant research experience.
- Experience in a research environment, including familiarity with statistical programming in Python or R.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
- Ability to communicate complex data effectively.

- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
