Position Overview:

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to be part of our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate, and implement engineering methodologies across various engineering projects.
  • Engage regularly with engineering professionals, governmental bodies, community stakeholders, and contractors on complex engineering issues.
  • Oversee and evaluate intricate engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Lead the planning, design, and advisory processes for water supply, transmission, distribution, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure initiatives.
  • Create and assess conceptual designs pertinent to infrastructure development.
  • Prepare and review construction documents and technical specifications.
  • Compile and analyze calculations, permit applications, monitoring plans, and progress reports.
  • Conduct studies and prepare designs and contract documents for water/wastewater and municipal infrastructure projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • Possession of an EIT Certificate and progress towards a PE license is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in civil/environmental and municipal engineering, particularly in water/wastewater design, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for effective communication in job-related contexts.
