Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer with extensive experience in bridge design and project management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant transportation projects that make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the structural components of various projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead design initiatives and manage our Quality Assurance processes.
  • Engage in business development efforts by delivering exceptional work and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting a culture of high performance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Participate in recruitment and represent the organization at industry events.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A proven track record in project management and business development.
  • Experience in large-scale bridge and infrastructure projects, with a focus on cross-disciplinary coordination.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project documentation and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • A Professional Engineer license in the relevant state.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required, with a Master's Degree preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design and management, including at least 5 years in relevant transportation agencies.

This role primarily involves office work, with occasional field responsibilities.
