Junior Water Resources Engineer

Position Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is in search of a Water/Wastewater Engineer to enhance our team. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive engineering and consulting services to our public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate, and implement engineering strategies across various projects.
- Engage regularly with engineering professionals, regulatory bodies, local communities, and contractors on intricate engineering issues.
- Oversee and assess detailed engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Lead the planning and design phases for water supply, transmission, distribution, and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Create and evaluate conceptual designs pertinent to infrastructure.
- Prepare and review construction documents and specifications.
- Conduct reviews and generate calculations, permit applications, monitoring plans, and progress reports.
- Manage studies, design preparations, and contract documentation for water/wastewater and municipal infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- EIT Certification preferred, with progress towards PE licensure.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in civil/environmental and municipal engineering, particularly in water/wastewater design.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for effective communication.
