Colliers Engineering & Design is in search of a Water/Wastewater Engineer to enhance our team. This role is based in our Mt. Laurel, NJ Office and is integral to our Governmental sector, where we deliver tailored engineering and consulting solutions to our public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate, and implement engineering strategies that impact a variety of engineering tasks.
  • Engage regularly with professional engineering consultants, governmental bodies, local communities, and contractors on intricate engineering issues.
  • Oversee and assess detailed engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Lead the planning, design, and advisory processes for projects related to water supply, transmission, distribution, and wastewater management.
  • Create and evaluate conceptual designs pertinent to infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and review construction documents and technical specifications.
  • Conduct reviews and prepare calculations, permit applications, monitoring plans, and progress reports.
  • Manage studies, design processes, and contract documentation for water/wastewater and municipal infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • An EIT Certificate with progress towards a PE license is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in civil/environmental and municipal engineering, particularly in water/wastewater design, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for effective communication in job-related contexts.
