**About the Role**

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our new office in the Tri-Cities area. As a Senior Project Manager and Branch Office Manager, you will be responsible for establishing our presence in the region and managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Oversee professional engineering and surveying services, including project planning, design, and construction.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
