Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior Outside Plant Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in executing detailed engineering tasks related to outside plant facilities, including estimation, analysis, design, and planning for various cable systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough engineering assessments and prepare detailed plans and drawings.
  • Design and analyze outside plant facilities for copper and fiber optic networks.
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses against forecasts.
  • Perform field inspections and ensure adherence to quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop comprehensive network solutions.
  • Prepare and submit permit packages while maintaining accurate records.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to support design efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in outside plant engineering, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Ability to identify and manage existing utility locations and right-of-way requirements.
  • Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Expertise in engineering work orders and project management.
  • Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) is preferred.
  • Possession of essential engineering tools and equipment.

Compensation:
