Position Overview

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking to establish a new office in the Tri-Cities area to better serve our clients. We are looking for a qualified professional to take on the role of Senior Project Manager and Branch Office Manager. This individual will play a crucial role in setting up our presence in the region while actively managing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of site development projects from inception to completion.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients and ensure project continuity.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews to uphold company standards.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our service offerings.
  • Engage in networking with clients, agencies, and contractors to foster professional relationships.
  • Manage office budgeting, reporting, and workload planning to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or land surveying (required).
  • Valid Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Oregon or Washington (required).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Strong understanding of local codes and agency standards.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Civil 3D or MicroStation/InRoads is a plus.
