Business Development Manager, Google Cloud

The Google Cloud Business Development Manager (BDM) role is a key position within Softchoice, responsible for driving growth and impact of partner-influenced revenue on our public cloud business. This role requires a strong understanding of the Google organizational structure, decision-makers, influencers, and key contacts. The BDM will create a partner engagement strategy and build a field alignment framework to establish and nurture key regional relationships in Sales, sales leadership, partner leadership, and pre-sales leadership within the Google partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a partner engagement strategy and build a field alignment framework
• Establish and nurture key regional relationships in Sales, sales leadership, partner leadership, and pre-sales leadership within the Google partnership
• Develop and distribute regional win wires
• Organize and facilitate regional business reviews
• Execute and govern regional joint business plans (market attack plans)
• Develop relationships and influence within Softchoice sales leaders RVPs and managers within the region
• Contribute voice of the partnership to influence our GTM planning and Category operating priorities
• Collaborate with vendor pre-sales and SSE communities to enable and influence Softchoice sellers and sales leadership
Requirements:
• 7 or more years of professional experience, preferably within the technology sector
• Demonstrable experience in solution sales and/or business development roles with consistent year-over-year performance to plan
• Experience fostering relationships with senior executives
• Strong executive presence, effective communication skills (all levels)
• Technical proficiency with demonstrable understanding of Cloud computing
• Google Cloud Digital Leader certificate, preferred
