Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Ramkota Hotel - Casper. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during night shifts, providing leadership and guidance to our staff, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide direction and coordination for hotel personnel during night shifts, ensuring that all departments are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Operations Management: Direct and coordinate various services related to hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Staff Supervision: Assume responsibility for the supervision of hotel staff during night shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate with departmental managers and the General Manager through daily written logs, ensuring that all parties are informed of key issues and concerns.
  • Security: Assume responsibility for the overall security of the hotel, ensuring that all security protocols are followed and that the hotel is safe and secure for guests and staff.
  • Guest Relations: Ensure that guest relations are maintained at the highest level, resolving customer complaints and problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain the hotel's cleanliness in accordance with policy, conducting regular inspections and taking appropriate action when necessary.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or departmental managers.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years hotel management or a leadership role experience required.
  • Skills: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computer skills. Ability to maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. This includes traveling to and from meetings. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
