Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Receivable Manager to join our team at Cabinetworks Group. As a key member of our Customer Financial Services department, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing customer accounts receivable, as well as leading a team of AR/CFS Representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and manage customer accounts receivable, including prioritizing collection tactics and strategies to minimize open A/R and past due invoicing.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and management to develop operating procedures to manage risk and ensure timely payment.
  • Manage all orders for credit hold/release for customers falling outside the agreed-upon strategy, administering the order entry system credit control process.
  • Remain current on legislation and business practices affecting credit and collection activities.
  • Work closely with Sales and Finance to implement security agreements, promissory notes, payment plans, and personal guaranties to minimize risk or maximize profitable sales.
  • Develop and maintain a functional leadership role in all aspects of AR credit and collection management for the Dealer/Distributor business channel team.
  • Provide credit and collection training to business partners and support non-credit and collection functions as needed.
  • Manage and coach Dealer/Distributor team members to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounts receivable experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading/managing staff.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Unidata, Decade) and Billtrust eInvoice Connect payment portal is a plus.
