Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
  • Conduct general ledger account reconciliations to uphold the integrity of financial data.
  • Generate detailed reports that provide critical insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, addressing inquiries and requests from vendors and internal teams promptly.
  • Input daily bank cash files into the general ledger system, ensuring accurate financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to prepare and enter journal entries for monthly intercompany billing.
  • Assist in updating monthly forecasts and the annual budgeting process to maintain financial health and growth.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to improve the accuracy of financial data.
  • Engage with department leaders to understand the cross-functional implications of financial transactions.
  • Support audit processes, tax inquiries, financial reporting, Sox compliance, and other special initiatives.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA eligibility.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications with a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities independently within set deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards & HFM software.
