Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management
- Develop a deep understanding of existing and potential clients' businesses to identify opportunities for Veolia's services.
- Create customized sales strategies to target specific clients and develop long-term relationships.
- Sales and Business Development
- Research and develop services, pricing, and quotations for complex customer accounts.
- Determine pricing strategies based on clients' current needs and provide innovative solutions to retain clients.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to influence management and support staff to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Develop regional sales criteria while maintaining and/or lowering operational costs through contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Prior sales experience of 1 to 3 years in the hazardous waste industry preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Computer proficient.
- Strong team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to negotiate effectively.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Valid driver's license.
- OSHA HAZWOPER Certification.
