Job Summary

Vesuvius USA is seeking a highly skilled Lean Engineer to provide technical and project leadership to our Cleveland manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing cost improvement and CAPEX programs, as well as implementing Lean techniques to improve manufacturing efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of cost improvement and CAPEX programs based on business needs
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology to drive manufacturing excellence initiatives
  • Manage a portfolio of lean projects to reduce waste and improve quality
  • Train and lead continuous improvement teams to drive measurable quality, service, and cost improvements
  • Drive the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices
  • Assist in setting annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, with experience in leading continuous improvement projects and teams. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and improve processes.
