Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will lead a team of exceptional talent in a world-class engineering environment. You will manage overall tasks according to business/project requirements, policies, and procedures, and work with other team members to establish measurements, monitor performance, and establish processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in a manufacturing environment
  • Manage workflow and load balancing to optimize production
  • Plan and track schedules, financial/budget data, and staffing requirements
  • Identify root cause and corrective actions for problem resolution
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve key performance indicators

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Technical Management, or related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts and ability to apply them
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
