Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary:
Surge Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections and testing procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual, measurement, and weight tests to verify product specifications
  • Establish and maintain inspection and testing procedures
  • Mark items with acceptance or rejection status
  • Convey any needed adjustments to the supervisor
  • Verify that equipment is functioning at specified levels and schedule maintenance when needed
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment

Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Basic mathematics skills
  • Ability to utilize tools and equipment needed for inspections
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Perform random and scheduled inspections
