Position Overview

Role Summary:

Are you ready to leverage your diverse operational expertise to enhance urban environments?

SMS Holdings is on the lookout for a Vice President of Regional Operations to deliver exceptional support to our clientele across the nation.

In this pivotal role, the chosen candidate will engage extensively with our current clients to uphold our outstanding retention rates while supervising the local management of various Cleaning, Safety, Hospitality, and Outreach initiatives within the designated region. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and ensuring on-site quality assurance for our existing programs and managers, striving to not only meet but surpass client expectations in service delivery.

• Collaborating with clients to guarantee that our local operations align with their expectations, while also identifying innovative ways to enhance the value of our services by proposing new methodologies and practices.

• Monitoring over 15 programs and mentoring the Operations Managers assigned to local initiatives under your leadership.

• Coordinating with our Corporate Support Center to facilitate the provision of essential back-office support for each of our programs.

• Managing budgets related to local operations.

• This role offers the flexibility to be based remotely.

• The position requires approximately 70% travel across various locations.

The diverse skill set required for this role encompasses customer service, field operations, budgeting, and financial performance, making it particularly suitable for individuals with prior experience in the following sectors:

• Multi-unit Retail Management

• Multi-unit Restaurant Management

• Contract Service Management (such as landscaping, janitorial services, etc.)

• Enjoy traveling, as the role involves at least two weeks of travel each month, sometimes visiting multiple cities within a week.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree or a significant amount of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional communication skills, proficiency in budgeting or financial analysis, and technological proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential.
