Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to fill the role of Associate in Account Management/Business Development. This position is pivotal in driving our mission to promote accessibility and inclusion throughout diverse industries. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing a robust account pipeline, managing essential client relationships, and fostering growth and impact for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from significant state or corporate entities.
  • Create compelling sales presentations that clearly articulate our offerings and value propositions while addressing client needs.
  • Design and implement effective engagement models and account management strategies.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with relevant organizations, including corporations, nonprofits, and government entities.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners to enhance collaboration and extend the Perkins brand for greater impact.
  • Facilitate targeted strategy discovery sessions and workshops.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align revenue and account objectives with the organization's overarching mission.
  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, providing insights and reports to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the organization at various conferences and networking events to boost visibility and forge new partnerships.
  • Assist in creating marketing and promotional materials to support partnership initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with strategic thinking capabilities, prioritization skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player.
  • Strong relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, start-up-like environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Passion for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and presentation tools such as Adobe, Canva, and PowerPoint; knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • MBA in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-3 years of management consulting experience with a demonstrated record of growth.
