We are in search of a driven and skilled professional to take on the role of Associate in Account Management/Business Development. In this pivotal position, you will contribute significantly to our mission of fostering accessibility and inclusion across diverse sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying and cultivating an account pipeline, managing key client relationships, and propelling growth and impact for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to RFPs from large state or corporate entities.
  • Create compelling sales and business development presentations that effectively communicate our offerings and value propositions while addressing client needs.
  • Design and implement engagement models and account management strategies.
  • Identify and forge strategic partnerships with relevant organizations, including corporations, nonprofits, and government entities.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners to enhance collaboration and extend the Perkins brand for greater impact and sustainability.
  • Facilitate successful and targeted strategy discovery sessions and workshops.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align revenue and account objectives with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, providing regular insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, events, and networking opportunities to boost visibility and cultivate new partnerships.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials to support partnership initiatives.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Proven leadership experience with a strategic mindset, capable of setting priorities, identifying challenges, and brainstorming practical solutions; strong business acumen is essential.
  • Self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, start-up-like environment with minimal direction.
  • Experience working in complex stakeholder environments.

Education and Experience:

  • MBA in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-3 years of management consulting experience with a demonstrated track record of growth.
