Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to take on the role of Associate in Account Management/Business Development. This position is vital in furthering our goal of enhancing accessibility and inclusion across diverse sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying and cultivating an account pipeline, managing key client relationships, and driving organizational growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to RFPs from large state or corporate clients.
  • Create compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate our offerings and demonstrate client needs.
  • Develop and implement account management strategies and engagement models.
  • Identify and forge strategic partnerships with relevant entities, including corporations, nonprofits, and government bodies.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners to maximize collaboration and enhance the Perkins brand.
  • Facilitate targeted strategy discovery sessions and workshops.
  • Work closely with leadership to align revenue and account goals with the organization’s mission.
  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events to increase visibility and cultivate new partnerships.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials to support partnership initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience with strategic thinking, prioritization, problem-solving, and strong business acumen.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, start-up-like environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in complex stakeholder settings.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and presentation tools such as Adobe, Canva, and PowerPoint is advantageous.

Education and Experience:

  • MBA in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-3 years of management consulting experience with a demonstrated record of growth.
