Overview: Perkins School for the Blind is dedicated to enhancing accessibility across various sectors. Position Summary: We are seeking a driven and skilled professional to fill the role of Associate in Account Management/Business Development. This position is vital in furthering our commitment to accessibility and inclusion. The successful candidate will be tasked with building and managing a robust account pipeline, overseeing key client relationships, and fostering growth and impact for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to RFPs from significant state or corporate clients.
- Create compelling sales presentations that clearly articulate our offerings and value propositions.
- Design and implement effective engagement models and account management strategies.
- Identify and forge strategic alliances with relevant organizations, including corporations, nonprofits, and government entities.
- Strengthen relationships with current partners to enhance collaboration and promote the Perkins brand.
- Facilitate targeted strategy discovery sessions and workshops.
- Work closely with leadership to align revenue goals with the organization's mission.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance metrics, providing insights for strategic planning.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events to boost visibility and cultivate new partnerships.
- Assist in creating marketing materials to support partnership initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience with strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
- Strong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.

- Experience in navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.

- Familiarity with Salesforce and presentation tools such as Adobe, Canva, and PowerPoint is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
- MBA in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in management consulting with a demonstrated record of success.
