About the Role:
The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into every task.

Our Guest Services Coordinators have the opportunity to shape the guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently check in guests with a friendly demeanor, using their names whenever possible.
  • Ensure guests are assigned the requested room type and the correct rate is applied.
  • Coordinate luggage delivery to guest rooms.
  • Issue accurate keys to guests.
  • Maximize revenue by upselling guest rooms based on availability.
  • Check out guests at the end of their stay, ensuring satisfaction, collecting keys, posting late charges, and presenting the final bill.
  • Accurately settle bills through credit card or cash transactions.
  • Maintain a balanced cash bank assigned by the hotel, making change, cashing checks, and exchanging foreign currency.
  • Reconcile all transactions at the end of each shift.

Handles all guest interactions with the utmost hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolving customer complaints; assisting customers with inquiries related to hotel services, operational hours, key personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.

Responds to all guest requests promptly and accurately. Interactions with guests will occur in person and via phone.

Qualifications:

  • Three to twelve months of previous experience in Reservations and/or Front Office is required.
  • Opera experience is preferred.
  • Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
  • Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Weekend and holiday availability is required.
