Security and Safety Coordinator

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Security and Safety Coordinator who is passionate about excellence and brings enthusiasm to every task. Our Security and Safety Coordinators play a vital role in enhancing our guest experience by demonstrating exceptional knowledge of the resort and embodying the Golden Rule in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage dispatch duties within the Security office, including report writing, key distribution, and maintaining daily logs, while answering phone calls and monitoring the fire alarm system and CCTV.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all individuals entering the property.
  • Focus on preventing incidents or accidents on the premises.
  • Document all reported incidents to Security.
  • Conduct foot patrols of the property, securing restricted areas and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Respond to guest lockout requests and assist with secure building access after hours.
  • Address disturbances, medical emergencies, and threats to safety and property calmly and effectively.
  • Manage lost and found items reported by guests or visitors, and perform checks of employees leaving the property.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, navigate stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in computer programs, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must qualify for and hold a State-required Security Guard Card.
  • Certification in Emergency Medical Response is required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is essential.
