Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry department and drive excellence in hospitality and service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high performance and overall excellence in the Pastry Department throughout each day's specific service periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pastry department to achieve high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Develop and implement pastry menus that align with the company's culinary vision and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of pastry offerings and timely flow of service.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to optimize departmental efficiency.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to pastry team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a senior pastry role, preferably in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving excellence in hospitality and service.
- Strong culinary skills, with expertise in pastry preparation, presentation, and plating.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
