Job Summary

Hotel Viking Newport is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently handle guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Guest Services: Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Communication: Develop strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling reservations, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior cash handling experience necessary.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication skills, very good computer skills, ability to work flexible hours, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
