Position Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to support our client's esteemed legal department. This position plays a vital role in upholding the integrity and ethical standards of the law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive conflict assessments for new clients, legal matters, and lateral hires utilizing advanced electronic databases.
  • Evaluate potential conflicts and effectively communicate findings along with recommended solutions.
  • Oversee the management of new matter documentation and ensure the accuracy of client and matter information.
  • Prepare engagement letters, conflict waivers, and ethical screen memoranda for attorney review.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals and conflicts counsel to address and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification coupled with relevant experience in a law firm setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a conflicts department within a US law firm; this is not an entry-level position.
  • Proficient understanding of professional responsibility and legal ethics related to conflicts.
  • Experience with Intapp or similar conflicts management software is highly preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently while delivering accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent prioritization abilities.
  • Proactive in adapting to changes in workflow and procedures.
  • Capable of critical thinking and working collaboratively within a team.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000, depending on experience.
