About Us:

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid is on the lookout for a dynamic and passionate individual who excels in creating compelling visual content. This role requires a talent for producing engaging short videos, capturing striking photographs, and showcasing a keen eye for digital design. Key responsibilities include managing content across various communication platforms and coordinating live streaming events. A strong organizational aptitude and administrative skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create short, informative video clips and photographs that highlight our justice initiatives.
  • Manage and post content across social media platforms, websites, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate live and recorded webinars.
  • Maintain organizational systems and media libraries, develop standard operating procedures, and schedule content releases.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • No formal degree required.
  • Experience in producing video and photographic content for social media.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms.
  • Experience in creating promotional materials such as brochures and flyers.
  • Knowledge of website management.
  • Willingness to travel for events and other organizational locations.
  • Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles.
  • Ability to learn and work both collaboratively and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with WordPress or similar website management systems.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Experience with newsletter management systems.
  • Knowledge of webinar streaming platforms.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software.
  • Ability to edit and proofread content according to AP Style guidelines.
  • Understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
  • Experience in social or legal justice organizations.
