OVERVIEW


BlueHalo is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Operations Specialist to enhance our team.

This role will play a crucial part in supporting the human resources function, focusing on the implementation of company-wide developmental initiatives and processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*HR Operations:
  • Partner with staff and management to implement a diverse array of Human Resource initiatives, encompassing HR Operations, onboarding processes, employee relations, policy enforcement, mentorship, compensation strategies, compliance, benefits management, leave administration, and offboarding procedures.

*HRIS Management:
  • Utilize data management systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now, to manage new hire information, compensation adjustments, position modifications, and other HR-related employment/payroll data.

*Confidentiality and Trust:
  • Manage sensitive employee information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. Foster and maintain trusting relationships with employees and colleagues.
*Critical Thinking/

Problem Solving:

  • Navigate complex situations and uncertainties to achieve clarity and resolution. Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data logically and systematically. Proven problem-solving and learning capabilities.

*Regulatory Compliance:
  • Proactively manage the ever-evolving regulatory landscape to ensure HR compliance. Conduct audits and generate necessary reports.
*Communication:
Consult with leadership to anticipate employee needs, address concerns, and resolve employee-related issues effectively. Capable of communicating information clearly to all levels of staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position involves working on government-related projects and requires U.S. Citizenship.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is required; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in HR Operations and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in the science, technology, or DoD contracting sectors is preferred.

Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization; comfortable presenting to various audience sizes.

Proven ability to build trusting relationships throughout the organization.
Ability to embrace complexity and navigate ambiguity, utilizing curiosity to find clarity and solutions.
Skilled in transitioning between strategic discussions and tactical execution.
Competent in assessing talent and metrics to identify opportunities and solutions.
Adept at managing multiple activities simultaneously.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning HRIS platforms.
