OVERVIEW

The Ladders is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Operations Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the human resources function and driving company-wide development initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • HR Operations: Partner with team members and management to implement a variety of Human Resource initiatives, including but not limited to HR Operations, onboarding processes, employee relations, policy management, mentoring programs, compensation strategies, compliance measures, benefits administration, leave management, and offboarding procedures.
  • HRIS Management: Utilize data management systems to handle new hire information, compensation adjustments, position changes, and other HR-related employment and payroll data.
  • Confidentiality and Trust: Manage sensitive employee information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. Foster and maintain trust-based relationships with employees and colleagues.
  • Analytical Thinking: Demonstrate the ability to navigate complex situations and provide clarity and solutions. Exhibit strong analytical skills in evaluating data systematically.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Proactively manage the evolving regulatory landscape to ensure HR compliance. Conduct audits and generate necessary reports.
  • Effective Communication: Engage with leadership to identify employee needs, address concerns, and resolve issues effectively. Communicate information clearly to all levels of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in HR Operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in the science, technology, or defense contracting sectors is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Adept at managing complexity and ambiguity, utilizing curiosity to drive clarity and solutions.
  • Skilled in balancing strategic discussions with tactical execution.
  • Ability to assess talent and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning HRIS platforms.
