Front Desk Team Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and people-skilled Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Capitana. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for making lasting first impressions, starting with a warm welcome, and owning each interaction with our guests. Your excellent communication skills and ability to diffuse conflict or tension will be essential in providing a positive experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet guests upon arrival and make them feel welcome
- Recognize repeat, VIP status, and/or loyalty
- Administer check-ins and check-outs
- Provide front desk services to guests
- Assign rooms and take care of administrative duties
- Deliver mail and messages
- Process guest payments
- Coordinate with bell service and staff management
- Be a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice
- Accommodate general and unique requests
- Diffuse conflict or tense situations with guests, handle guest opportunities
- Train new Front Desk Agents
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Time management and organizational skills
- Conflict resolution experience
