Job Overview

This role reports to the Market Manager and requires a passion for business development, with a focus on sales growth for assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement event/activity plans for assigned accounts to build awareness of our clients' unique value proposition.
  • Utilize influence and creativity to drive inquiry generation and high-impact partnerships.
  • Provide exceptional sales presentations with a consultative approach for distributors, merchandisers, buyers, and their sales teams.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of foodservice brokerage or foodservice distribution sales experience.
  • Restaurant operations or culinary experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Outstanding time management and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong partner relationships.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
