MAN Energy Solutions USA, Inc. is a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager Business Development to join our team in the Americas region.

Job Summary

The Sales Manager Business Development will be responsible for introducing our Nuclear sub-segment portfolio of products and services to customers in the Americas and developing business opportunities in defined fields of activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the Nuclear sub-segment fields of activity and position MAN ES as a "go to" supplier in customer minds for these fields.
  • Assess and develop new business opportunities.
  • Identify and evaluate new market potentials based on customer and market information.
  • Provide relevant market information and evaluations to the sub-segment central organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and submit new commercial leads in close cooperation with the sub-segment central organization.
  • Configure required products and services for customers in close cooperation with the sub-segment central organization.
  • Qualify and develop leads until they can be handed over to the Sales organization.
  • Ensure smooth communication with customers in close cooperation with the Sales manager after handing over, and also during project execution.
  • Maintain competitor benchmarks and analysis in close cooperation with Market Intelligence.
  • Assess and compare our business model with partners, competitors, and alternative solutions.
  • Maintain a continuous optimization of existing business models.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the power generation business.
  • Background with nuclear power plants, lobbying, and interacting with professional associations is preferred.
